Do you recall Elvis and his first Ed Sullivan show? Our parents were terrified he was going to be the downfall of us all. Remember bobby soxs, poodle skirts, rock’n roll, soda fountains, and no color TV’s. We watched commercial jetlines make maiden flights while we took a locomotive to Washington, D.C. For our senior trip. We listened to Ray Steven’s “Ahab theArab” and watched the night sky in October 1957 for Sputnik. That was such a fun and carefree time. Now many of us are grandparents in an age of instant communications.
